A sex, sexual, and gender
differences in education and culture focus group in the Faculty of
Education, University of Alberta. AGAPE is a focus group set up to
consider issues in relation to sex, sexual, and gender differences
and schooling. It is designed to meet the needs of lesbian, gay,
bisexual, and trans-identified undergraduate and graduate students,
faculty and staff in the Faculty of Education at the University of
Alberta. Straight allies are also welcome. As well, we welcome
practicing teachers and other interested members of the larger
community.
The
Don’t Buy In Project is a diversity and hate-bias program for local
junior and senior high school. This program provides schools with
the skill development, information and resources needed to support
an environment that actively addresses issues of hate, bias and
discrimination.
